Modern ways for protein analysis

Saturday, March 29th, 2008

A main method for protein structure detection is x-ray dissection, also known as x-ray crystallography. Really, the protein crystallography is not separate part, but it is very important section of x-ray crystallography. Protein crystallography does permit determining protein secondary structure and subsequently triple structure of protein. Sometimes, on the basis of protein crystallography information it is possible do determine the protein quaternary structure, but it is not always available. Lots of various circumstances can influence the studying of protein structure. Folding of protein is the cardinal structural property of protein molecule. The protein is very surprising matter, because all the information about it is stocked and folded in its primary structure. So many scientists worldwide try to examine the protein more correctly.
